The one who said thank you

Ten men with a terrible skin sickness stood far away and shouted, Jesus, have mercy on us! Jesus healed all ten of them. As they walked away, their sickness disappeared.

But only one of them stopped, turned around, and ran back. He praised God at the top of his voice and fell down at the feet of Jesus, saying thank you. Jesus asked, Were not ten healed? Where are the other nine?

Gratitude is rare, and gratitude is powerful. Every good thing you have is a gift. Noticing the gifts and saying thank you makes your heart glad, and it makes God glad too.

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God with a loud voice, and thanked Jesus.
