Four good friends
A man could not walk, and his four friends heard that Jesus was in town. They carried him on his mat all the way to the house. But the crowd was packed so tight, they could not even get near the door.
Did they give up? No. They climbed onto the roof, opened up a hole right through it, and lowered their friend down on ropes, landing him right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw how much the friends believed, he healed the man. Stand up, take your mat, and go home. And he did!
Be that kind of friend. The kind who carries people when they are weak, who does not give up at the first closed door, and who brings friends close to Jesus.
When Jesus saw the faith of the four friends, he said to the man, Stand up, take your mat, and go home.
