Look at the birds

Do you ever worry? About school, about friends, about the dark, about tomorrow? Jesus knew that people worry, so he pointed at the birds.

Look at the birds, he said. They do not plant gardens or fill up barns with food, and God feeds them every single day. And you matter to God even more than the birds do.

So when worry starts buzzing around your head, do what Jesus said. Look at a bird. Remember who feeds it. Then tell that same God exactly what you are worried about.

Look at the birds. They do not plant or gather food into barns, and your Father in heaven feeds them. Are you not worth much more than birds?
