Tell the truth

Jesus taught that his followers should be people others can trust. He said your yes should mean yes and your no should mean no. You should not need big promises to prove you are honest. Your plain words should be enough.

Telling the truth can feel hard, especially after a mistake. But every true word makes trust grow stronger. Every lie makes things heavier and more tangled.

Jesus called himself the truth. When you are honest, you are being like him.

Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no.
